I mean MY GOD. You would think I posted a string of photos of Justin Bobby rocking a mullet or something...I never imagined that the documentation of our cavortings could ever be so controversial. I realize now that perhaps this shoot was sharing too much, in that ..hem hem.. uhh 'Caldwell' was putting himself out there to be judged on a platform that sort of has nothing to do with him. I understand that because these photos did put him in that place people are going to feel free to judge him and comment on his appearance and style and that is completely fine, I'm glad to have such opinionated readers, I was just taken aback at the sometimes extreme negativity involved in doing so. I have never deleted so many comments in this blog's short lifetime! Well and one directed at me calling me an 'Asian hooker', I suppose an environment of negativity just feeds more to emerge. Or I secretly stalk the streets at night. <BR/><BR/>So, in regards to Caldwell, let me just say that I'm the one that's into fashion, not him. Those are my (awesome!) vintage sunglasses he's wearing, it was my trapper hat in the previous post, so all the random 'obnoxious' accessories are fully not his. He does subscribe much more to the Southern California look than I do, and he wears skater shoes works out and likes to surf and listens to Pepper and honestly, it's okay. I'm not going to try to change him - maybe sometimes I'll think something will look good on him that he probably wouldn't normally pick out himself so I'll get that stuff for him as a present, which is how he came into his first blazer and American Apparel items. And anon 7:33, we both liked your ideas :)<BR/><BR/>However, I'm not one of those girls that likes their boyfriend to look like they took longer to get ready than they themselves did. I'm fine with the fact that he wears random jeans and tshirts most of the time, because when it comes to males, I think they really are hotter when they look like they didn't try..at all. And wife beaters are cheesy and horrible, agreed, butttttttttt oh well. When I was getting on the ferry recently I saw some guy wearing the same 80s shades, super dark wash skinny jeans, and fitted leather jacket as I was that day (alllmost embarrassing) and thought how even though I subscribe to that style of dress, I would find it highly odd to have my boyfriend be a mirror image of me, and also sort of effeminate. But that's just my PERSONAL outlook and it sort of has nothing to do with anyone else. A lot of my friends are completely different and prefer a metro-ish look, and that's great for them. I know that people probably assume that my bf would look a certain way from the way that I dress and I'm sorry you were let down...but he's not the one with the fashion blog, I am!
