A twisted take on the ankle boot by Dutch designer Iris Van Herpen and United Nude, courtesy of Solestruck. Only 100 pairs made. They might look tame compared to Mcqueen’s (RIP) armadillos but they straddle the exact line between wearable and WTF, measuring in at six and half inches high. Sweet.

The Acne Hybria boot..a little more understated than the Admire style..as pretty as those looked in khaki when I visited the Acne store in Stockholm. Twice. I’m into the counterintuitive zipper placement and smoothly rounded toe. Never enough black ankle boots…I need to line them up and knock them all over like beautiful dominos while giggling maniacally. Just kidding. I probably wouldn’t do that.
