I got back from Tokyo yesterday and after failing to stay up with some late afternoon coffee, proceeded to sleep for 15 hours. I woke up so confused. Should it even be possible to do that? Anyway, the trip was rad – my hotel room was about a foot from the Tokyo tower with a view I never quite wrapped my mind around, I met so many amazing people (including ViVi’s Marie who is so sweet!), shot with Elle and ElleGirl in Aoyama, roamed around the city with my lovely booker Jen, went to Le Baron with my friends from Mercury Duo Haruka and Kenji, bought some things for fall (mostly various shades of gross brown tones in leather and velvet), had some exciting meetings that I’ll hopefully be able to tell you more about soon, and brought back an enormous Kapibara-san that my cats really don’t trust.
These shots are from Starlite in San Diego..make sure to stop by if you’re in town, it’s one of our favorite places to waste time slowly.

I’ve had this leopard print deal in my closet for months now and have almost worn it as a shirt so many times..I realized this weekend how much better it looks as a flimsy blazer sort of thing instead. Life changing revelation right. The fact remains that it’s probably the top part of a slinky pajama set.
Mainly posting these photos to more efficiently answer a frequently asked question in the past couple weeks – where these boots are from. I never really saw them online but I bought them at an LF sale in La Jolla back in February along with some shapeless knits. They look kind of odd here as if they’re navy/brown but they’re actually black on (brownish) black I promise. I must be re-in love with them again cause they just got tossed into my suitcase for Tokyo. Eight hours left to sleep, finish packing, and get to the airport.

Running some errands in a top I thrifted last week. It had an entire extra layer that I cut off the bottom to make it..friendlier. Enjoying the weekend relaxing at home before taking off for Tokyo on Tuesday and then the next weekend I’m heading to Sweden for Stockholm Fashion Week. From street style to designers to blogs, Sweden is such an inspiring country and I am really excited to visit. And thank you to all of my Swedish readers, who have been so supportive from the beginning!
