This year I want to start wearing more shapely dresses than the sacks I’ve gravitated towards in the past but this Zara number I might never wean myself off of. Eww wean. It originally came with a slip and a tie belt that I’ve long since lost, and it’s meant to be worn as a knee length sort of thing but I love it thrown back over the shoulders. Such an unseemly silhouette requires the most optimal footwear for redeeming power…I really think that these Céline sandals could save anything. The really good accessories are like that.
Buying two shearling jackets in the middle of summer while traveling through Europe was the bane of my existence every time it came time to pack my bags. But no regrets now, these things are so warm I have morphed into a person who has no issues taking long pointless walks at night or filling up the gas tank at a arctic Chevron in the middle of nowhere. Kinda nice not having to be the group wuss from time to time. Worn here with a Madewell light denim shirt and Malene Birger neck cuff.

I’ve been meaning to post about the Bloglovin Awards which are going to be taking place again during NYFW..oh wait that’s um next week? Gulp. Anxiety dance. Collapse. Anyway, you guys were amazing enough to get me two awards for Best Personal Style and Blogger of the Year last year (still in shock/confusion/bliss whenever I think about this..) – if you still feel the same way about my blog help me out again by voting for me here. Tell your friends!
