(LF dress, fashiontoast x Dannijo Arc necklace, Topshop ‘Antique’ boots, Pamela Love mood ring)
Wednesday night with Magnus Berger’s Last Magazine at Indochine and Dominion..I had a lot of fun hanging out with my bff Bryanboy, my friends at Kanon, Sonny Vandevelde, Amanda Norgaard, and the beautiful Prabal Gurung…I wore the drapiest sheer dress I own, some very walkable suede boots I got at Topshop in Soho earlier that day, and this necklace I designed with Dannijo that I’ve been wearing nonstop lately. Check out the rest of the photos we took at Kanon’s blog here.
PS since there are a few makeup questions, I’m wearing MAC fluidline eyeliner, Urban Decay Afterglow Cheek Tint in Indecent (obsessed with these, UD gave me a bunch and I love all of them…Fetish and Score are my favorites), La Mer The Powder, Revlon Super Lustrous lipgloss in Nude Lustre, and Bobbi Brown eyeshadow from a random palette I forgot I had.

All I have to say is thank you thank you thank you! The Bloglovin Awards were Sunday night at the Stone Rose Lounge uptown – Colin and I headed right over after the Thakoon show and it was amazing to see so many familiar faces gathered in one place. The awards were purely vote-based (from a tally of over 250,000, crazy) so I have my beautiful readers to owe this to – I won for both Best Personal Style and Blogger of the Year! Still pinching myself. Check out Kanon’s blog here for more photos!

(Elizabeth and James Greta kimono top, Dannijo necklaces, silk petal shorts, Jeffrey Campbell taupe Lita shoes, Balenciaga bag)
From a couple weekends ago at Paramount Studios, during the last full-on heat wave weekend we had here. My friend Andrew (Teen Vogue’s Style Blogger – Bryan and I mock him endlessly for not having an actual blog whilst throwing that title around) came out to LA to make sure everything went smoothly ie. accompany me while testing out Toast’s red velvet cupcakes and having drinks at bafflingly farmy smelling bars, peruse Pendleton at Opening Ceremony and try to convince me I needed a pair of Alexander Wang boots I probably need but continue to resist, and introduce me to the crooners at Dresden. Tangents. The party started off with a show put on by Michael Kors around the fountain, and the paper lanterns hanging in the trees and white couches scattered across the grass made for a beautiful scene. This month’s cover girl Lauren Conrad was in attendance looking impossibly polished, Alexa Chung DJ-ed, Amy Astley was as gracious as ever, and Andrew ran around looking slightly worried until we migrated to Hemingway’s so that actual worrisome things could happen.
What really matters: I’m joining in the choir of Lita obsessers. These are the most comfortable shoes to boost one so high, ever.
