three days in tokyo
tokyo photo diary 3
Some shots from my trip to Japan a couple weeks ago: shooting with Mercury Duo and ViVi, making the most out of my proximity to Topshop and Opening Ceremony, wandering around Shibuya with my mom, breaking in my Obakki zipper bag, testing as many different coffee drinks from 7-11 as possible, jewelry I picked up along Takeshita-Dori, cheesy grins with Osami Yabuta, the wall collage that ViVi made from my blog photos, Shibuya by night, and baggage claim to mark the end.
Going back to Tokyo is always so amazing it almost feels like a relief..every time I come home I feel a little empty for a few days as I transition back. Depressing huh. But I’m working on figuring it out to where I can spend a lot more time in Japan..I’ll keep you guys posted!

I take a lot of random photos that have no purpose here…so I started a separate blog for them…genericdream.
featherweight
- I bought some cheesy body jewels to stick on the inner corners of my eyes, a look I loved at the Marchesa presentation in February…the case they came in is way more exciting though…once I lose all of them (probably within the week) I’m going to have to think really hard about what deserves to be stored in it
- skipped eyeliner today and kept it simple with Maybelline Volum’ Express mascara, Chanel Teint Innocence, and Perfumeria Gal lip balm..3 of my staples
- beautiful gnarled old tree
- Kumo sleeps like a human and purrs upon contact about 95% of the time..the only way to describe his personality is that he’s like your favorite stuffed animal brought to life
- horses breaking into a gallop at day’s end
already under and living within the ocean

Lonely Hearts makes the best lingerie. I failed to find the cutout bodysuit from this collection but was stoked to see that one of my favorite stores Bona Drag had ordered some pieces.
