Enjoying a weirdo Mad Max moment in a yawning expanse of spiky things and probably snakes. I love when I do things that, in retrospect, would have been bettered with the casual use of a monster truck and like, an antique diving helmet. Ie. everything, ergo that sentence has no meaning. Sorry, it’s late. But I do love a solid leather bustier, that much I know.

(3.1 Phillip Lim Scrapbook Floral dress)

Today on the side of the road in between the beach and the grocery store, it seemed wise to drop everything for a couple minutes and trespass fieldward for this shot. Half because repeated nature items always look good in photos and half because it’s important to pay respect to Phillip Lim’s resort collection, where watery florals and leather overalls exist in the same realm. This dress is plenty pretty but I think it’s also nice to note that it gives the illusion that the wearer was clever enough to tuck a silk tshirt into a fluid printed skirt and fasten it all with a corset cum cummerbund in the same print. I’m not ready to admit that I’m not the illusion person but I am ready to imply it.
