Rumi Neely x RVCA Machinery Dress
Second time ever in a tanning booth..these things freak me out. But they also look awesome.
The pieces I designed for RVCA are out! The Machinery dress is a tribute to Milla Jovovich's bandage gear in The Fifth Element and the Triad tank is an extremely generously cut and wearable basic. Check them both out on RVCA's site here - they'll also be available at Bloomingdale's and Pacific Sunwear. Thank you to everyone at RVCA who was involved in this collaboration, it's such an honor to be part of the RVCA family...the way Pat brings together creative people from so many different walks of life is inspiring.

Oh god, I really hope you the only purpose for visiting a dreaded tanning salon was for these pictures, that turned out amazing! I REALLLLLLLLY hope you don't go tanning, you might as well start smoking too.
The two pieces you designed are cute, but they look the same overall. I could make them in less than an hour from scratch. But i am glad they are less that $100. I was actually surprised they were priced kind of low, knowing you.

I really hope the only reason for you even stepping foot on the tanning bed was to take these photos. Tanning beds are extremely bad for you! Even if you use a tanning bed only once, your risk for melanoma - the deadliest skin cancer - increases by 75 percent. It's just asking for skin cancer.
Love the dress! I'm def buying it with one of my paychecks this summer. It's fabulous.
And the tank, need that too. I think I may wear both all the time!

This is probably the only reason tanning beds should be used anymore. I never thought about how cool the lighting would look! With the poses and the lighting, the whole look is very sci-fi chic, I love it!

holy fuck you have no idea how much i love/am obsessed with this idea. the fifth element is like my favorite movie ever....im being leelu for halloween...yes i already decided..but not the scotch tape outfit in the beginning but the second one.
..i work at american rag and......BRUCE WILLIS came in...i melted and specifically told him as i rang him up "by the way fifth element is seriously the best movie ever..." he was stoked. wow this is an embarrassingly long comment. anyway MILLA RULES!
