Sometimes the living room doesn't quite cut it but the nights are almost too cold to pull this crap off. My feet were frozen and I had to change into boots by actual exit time.
Re-loving headbands, red lips, and this tshirt-thin sweater with an ever so slightly more open knit on the sleeves.

I love this look, Im really loving all shade of red lips right now! Im feeling you on the frozen, I think it was like 5 today, not fun. I had my big faux fur hood up today and this old guy was like "Holy Macarel, I like your hood, it looks warm" haha not warm enough unfortunately.

The red is actually the perfect shade for your colouring...how long did it take to find it? I feel a little silly now that I never stopped loving headbands (espesh turban or cleaning lady styles!)so, yay, I feel a bit more validated!

I think the crawling over the chair poses are really awkward as well. The open legs is also really weird and not coming across as edgy. IDK what you were going for.
It make me sad that this blog is no longer about the clothes and now just about you and how you think you're a celebrity and how you think anything you wear looks awesome just because you are wearing it. It's evident by the fact that you post a ridiculous number of pictures of yourself trying to look nonchalant, and 1/2 the time your poses are so strange we can't even see your outfit properly (like the silver dress ones a while back, or even sequins on the bed-STAND UP).

I've been following your blog for a long time and you are cool, interesting and you're often doing cool things with fashion. That being said, I just REALLY don't understand these constant poses and drugged out, "candids." I'd LOVE to see what you're wearing but all I can see is you making a random face while your body contorts into some random shape. We get it, you're beautiful. You would look equally - or more - beautiful if you slapped on a smile once in a while. At this point it's pretty clear that someone is taking the time to stage a photoshoot of you so why is this CHARADE of 'this-is-just-me-being-me-and-i-have-no-idea-anyone-if-taking-my-picture going on'?! It's ridiculous and at times it's not even flattering. At the very least could you include one picture in which your outfit is genuinely visible? I know this is coming off like one of those rants posted by the people who just come here to flame you, but honestly that is not what I'm trying to accomplish at all. I think you're really inspirational and you have a lot off great things to show - but for god's sakes, can you please bring the focus back to fashion????

Wow, for once I agree w/ one of the Anons. I would like to see more of the outfit. However, I think the candid thing is cute, Colin takes great pics and they don't look staged. She's just trying something new and finding herself w/ poses - you can't fault her for that. I find that I come to see what shots Colin has come up w/ more than anything now. I also miss the days when the entries would be more than a couple of sentences. I'd rather quality over quantity anyday. You have a great sense of humor Rumi, give us a long entry once in a while =)
And FYI - you don't have to be pale to wear red lips. I think Rumi has a gorgeous skin tone. A tone you're probably trying to spray on.

you are amazing. i love the red lips, but i have one suggestion. maybe you should do dark BROWN smoky eyes...i once went to the make up counter (years and years ago), and i was asking them to test out all this smoky makeup on me. it didnt look bad, but something was off. they removed the black and used the same smoky technique with shades of brown. it was genuis. it still looked sexy, but not harsh or out of place. i thought that maybe (since our skin tones/ hair color are similar) you would like my suggestion.
