Some of my favorite Kate shots.
I've gotten some fun things in the mail this week. Ashish leopard boots firmly attached to my feet. They are...precarious. My cats are very intrigued by them. Only a few days till New York and I'm trying to figure out a cohesive packing plan. Footwear seems to be threatening to take over all the suitcase real estate.

I love the first shot. Footwear always takes over my suitcases. Whenever I travel (which is always), I end up with, like, 10 pairs of shoes, underwear, and approximately 2 shirts. Then, I beat myself up for being stupid the rest of the trip...
Yum, love leopard print. I'm kind of thinking it's impossible for Kate to take a bad photo, but I don't think that's a new notion.
i missed out on the ashish leopard shoes! and i will never forgive myself, ever! i suck, yeahhhhhhh.oh and good luck packing! ahah if you're like me your suitcase probably looks like a war zone!

I was probably your age when she first came into focus but I couldn't adjust my eyes at the time as they were accustomed to the dimensions of Claudia, Cindy, Linda et al. It was only about five years ago that I found myself repeatedly distracted by her image, style, that covetable, messy head of dirty blonde, bed-hair and all her endearing imperfections.
I've admired countless screen icons and beauties of the mid-twentieth century - Marilyn, Grace, Audrey, Brigitte but it's refreshing and exciting to be able to grow old along side a beauty of our time.
