(Emanuel Ungaro hoodie and studded clutch, Forever 21 tshirt and shorts, Aldo t-strap heels)

Some of you may remember a most fairy tale-like experience I had in Paris back in March thanks to designer of Ungaro Esteban Cortazar. He was as charming and fun as he was generous with his time for me and Colin - from getting to see his show at the Louvre (if you must know, the invitations are propped up on my dresser next to all my jewelry) to having dinner at George's complete with a Kanye sighting, he made our time unforgettable. He was sweet enough to send me some of my favorite pieces from his fall collection to play around with...this dripping-in-chains angora hoodie was one of the most gasp inducing looks for me. I honestly removed it from the package as if it was an ancient fossil of sorts and Colin agreed upon trying it on that it was just ridiculously good. Complete with a two-way zipper, fierce little shoulder pads, and an extra slouchy hood, there's pretty much nothing I can think of that wouldn't look amazing with it, or the strawberry red clutch for that matter. Thank you Esteban, much love from California to Paris!

First time I'm commenting, but never has my initial reaction to one of your items been so strong. Hands down best single piece you've worn. At first, as the picture started scrolling down I thought it might be a Balmain jacket. Thankfully not. This f**king sh*ts on almost every item that has hogged editorials for the last year. Sorry for expletives but sometimes one just has to. Like Gabrielle my jaw is somewhere around my feet. Infact excuse me while I do a jawless, happy loon dance round my room on your behalf.
Thanks for sharing.x

(Oh, but before I go and do said boogie, I just want to add to disgruntled 'Anonymi' here and previously, that I don't give two hoots as to whether Rumi is rich or not. Talking about the financial situation of others IS 'lame', really tacky, and suggests a host of unresolved issues on your part. Ditto comments regarding her weight, employment or the gifts she receives. Is it really that hard to be happy for someone else? I have a belly that (unlike Rumi's) will always wobble, acne well into my 30s, a cat that wilfully poos by my bed, and wish I had been nicer to my dad. Yes life may suck sometimes, but don't feel the need to diss someone else's choices because of that. If there's nothing constructive to be said, keep schtum. Thank you.)

I don't know where to begin with this one! Just when I didn't think I had anything to talk about today, I've got this Dr. Phil confession session posted on the walls (loves it). So -- people are going to say not so nice things, fact. I don't see why you wannabe daytime do - gooders think that just because there are some mean spirited people, people asking questions or people just being people that aren't asskissers, are all bad people. People have opinions. No one is professing facts here (or maybe, I'm not entirely sure). BUT they are free to speak. Just like you are welcome to TMI us all to death with your personal problems, they are willing, the "anons" to share theirs in their own way, bitter or not. I say, just another color in the rainbow. I want the entire spectrum. And if we are to maintain our rights as a people, I want the haters morso than the lovers.

I said 'constructive' not 'good', notorious (cough). I'm sure every blogger welcomes constructive comments whether they are complimentary or otherwise. It's the 'how do you earn your money' type that don't add anything to the blogosphere or our appraisal of the subject matter, and whilst they may not be 'bad people' why do they ask their questions in such a catty /tacky way? Courtesy and intelligent discourse are not mutually exclusive.

Furthermore, if you are going to speak as the peoples' champion, fighting the good fight for freedom of speech, then why get so irked by those so-called 'ass-kissers' and 'daytime do gooders'. Kinda shot your argument in the foot there rainbow child. Furthermore, it's not just in the daytime - I do food runs for the homeless at night too.

Confession? No Teg, just mancunian humour. I actually like myself a lot. Check out ma picture, I'm a keeper. The rest of your diatribe I didn't really follow. Best not to drink and type perhaps.

I actually can't wait for you to start this blog you've threatened us with. It may be a joke, but in all seriousness I think with it you will help facilitate the kaleidoscope of comments you crave to substantiate your self-proclaimed notoriety. Just as I have done here, I know.

Rumi, I'm sorry I've hogged some more of your comment space but Teg didn't leave an email. Ballsy.

Readers, sorry if I have TMI'd you all to death again. No really. I blame a bad childhood and not getting an Aston Martin for my sweet sixteenth. I won't respond to Teg on your page again as my contact address is available at the click of a button.

p.s TMI? anyone?

Before everyone gets in a huff about the state of 'free shit' in the fashion society, why don't you let Rumi clarify whether she actually was gifted with the hoodie and clutch or if it is just on loan to take pics of for the blog? Because designers do that all the time- they loan the next season's clothing/accessories to celebs/tastemakers so that the buzz is hyped to the max way long before you or I can get our hands on them. I used to work in Zac Posen's PR dept. among others and it is an amazing thing. The public thinks stars are so rich (which of course, most are) but they don't actually get to keep the stuff. They're just samples - the one set of samples the designer has to loan out to celebs and to fashion mags for shoots, etc. I don't know if Esteban has actually bestowed upon Rumi his one set of samples for the fall season. Unless he has? Rumi?

Someone on this blog must really hold a grudge against this opinion 'cause he/she flamed someone else when this was mentioned.
