I saw this a few days ago and honestly, didnt find it to be terribly impressive. Cheers to you for managing to obtain this contract and additional self promotion, but other than that I really wasnt impressed. I think you could stand to use a modeling coach because the body poses that you presented werent editorial worthy.

Rumi, the style guide looks amazing! My favorite outfits were The Modern Toga, Star Trekking (awesome dress you should keep it), and School Girl! It was also very cool to see you with different hairstyles.
Someone made a comment about you modeling with your mouth open, my bff models and she can't close her mouth either! lol. But in her defense, she says Kate Moss models with her mouth open too! And she does it, what's wrong with that? Keep up the good work!

Me again, I saw that someone said you looked "more asian and less generic" in those pics, that's absolutely what I meant. The weird bangs make you look generic. And your usual make up (lots of black/grey eyeshadow) makes your eyes look round. They're not! Bisous

The make up job they did on you makes you look really asian, and your face is looking all kinds of square. I thought the shoot was okay, but surprisingly felt the way you do your own make up (which I normally find amateur) is waay better than the way they chose to do it. And I agree with the previous poster. Your legs look weird. Not model like at all.

I'm surprised to see so many anon's pick you apart. Don't they realize how psychologically damaging high fashion models can be towards young girls and how unrealistic it is to be so perfectly thin??? I find it so refreshing to see such a naturally thin and toned physique in a fashion spread. And for the negative comments on the video...clearly just aimed at you personally and out of jealousy. There's a reason why you've gained so much attention in the fashion biz...and there's nothing they can do about it.
Yes Rumi is not a real model and never would be by today's model standards. But that's her whole appeal isn't it?! I think it's great to use a more normal looking girl in fashion spreads and advertising, and she still looks slim and pretty - models should be slightly more healthy looking imo, like Rummi. Well, that's my opinion, she makes a good muse and she's where she is today becuase of her blogging which we are all reading!! haha.
