Colin and I have been trying to stay away from going out so much but Saturday things snowballed when some friends came over. I wore my favorite vast sweater and piled on the Noir. I'll have to take close-ups of these pieces, they're the perfect combination of blinding and sharp.

The stockings would be gorgeous with anything classy (ie. not denim shorts). The sweater is also great, but again - worn with something else. Those pieces are just so wrong together - and not 'so wrong its right' but just plain wrong...like a peanut butter and tuna salad sandwich - both great sandwhich fillings, but together = PUKE!

there is a very fine line between too much and leaving some to imagination. i think if u chose either one - stockings OR sweater - it would have left it at leaving some to imagination. together, it became revealing too much. you have done way better. and this is not one of those times.

Fristly, good on you for getting to where you are with your blog. Unfortunately, I have to agree with alot of the other comments here. This outfit is not very tasteful. And i dont think it was a good idea to photograph yourself in a provacative manner next to a police van - screams 'hooker being arrested'. I think you have lost your creativity over-time since you started your blog. Your blog seems to be more about photography lately - maybe Collin should start his own blog so you can concentrate more on style/fashion. Your sentiment and likability still come through in your writing, but the images don't match - has the success of Fashion Toast done this? I say this with sincerity, but this isn't the blog I first bookmarked - your pictures seem almost to be exploiting you. Remember the young girls looking up to you, and rethink the example you set them by posting outfits like this.

jut because people don't like an outfit doesn't make them insecure with themselves/jealous. you can't be jealous of this if you have no desire to look like it. i dont like this look, and dont wish i could pull it off. because i dont think anyone can.
and people aren't calling HER trashy, just the combination of the outfit. you don't have to be showing skin to look cheap.
that said, like many others i generally love your style, just not this one. i also love all of these pieces, just the combination isnt right. but it could look totally different in real life :-)
also, to all the people complaining that the anons (yeah i know im anon but i dont have an account, but my name is ash, from australia) should say nothing if they have nothing nice to say...well i say, dont have a blog if you only want adoration and for people to tell you you're amazing..
but rumi, this outfit wont stop me coming to your blog 2-3 times a week. you have the best skin and i want to kidnap half your wardrobe
