Playing around with Poladroid.
Sunday was an inexplicable 85 degrees so we took full advantage by riding bikes on the boardwalk before consuming the bounty of a trip to 7-Eleven on the sand. It was the first run on the beach cruiser that Colin got for me for Christmas, as well as a chance to revive this cheesy backless crochet top that I had in high school. One of the odd pieces I scrounged up at my parent's house along with the white cutoffs.
I started this Converse studding project back in October but then got annoyed by my inability to line the studs up and shoved the whole thing into a closet..until last week when I forced myself to finish the damn things during a Man VS Wild marathon so they wouldn't go to waste. Now to scuff them up with a few more splashes of rank water in the streets tossed up through the spokes and I should be good..

I love love love the studding. I have yet to even start a studding project ToT Ah I went to seven eleven today in ocean beach and bought loads of food excluding chili dogs (they make me feel like a truck driver haha) OMG to the poladroid, but "POLAROID 08 we will never forget." + You look so cute Rumi I'll try to cease my squealing if I ever bump into you.

The D.I.Y Converse are fantastic! And from the photographs it seems like a project that would be very time consuming in my case. I can be extremely anal about wanting things to be organized and lined up perfectly so I'll just continue to gawk at your wonderful shoes :)

i have started studding my converse too but shove them in the closet just like you because they were not really straight and i get disappointed. now i have to go back and finish because it looks gorgeous! :)

i think m v. w turned me off because i knew that his poor cameraman was following him around, but i watched anyway because he did silly things like hiding in animal carcasses, haha

I love poladroid -- I honestly think everyone looks a million times cooler on a polaroid. These pics, however, are hot no matter what!
Wow, I usually piss take any studded item in reference to my shameful 8th grade emoism, but those are excellent. I love polaroids, it's so rare to see old technology still in use, and also it's good to see your still wearing clothes from your school days-recycling(in a way) at its best!
