Death stare II. I could not possibly be more excited about these Topshop pants..but after buying American Apparel's lame leggings, Kate Moss' wet look skinnies, and now these suckers, I think I'm going to cut myself off from the shiny stuff. I'm also going to start repenting for long neglecting these boots, which were one of the first pairs of expensive-ish boots that I bought as a blogger..previously I had pretty much kept to MJ too actually. I've only been turned astray due to a depressing lack of soaring heights and platforms in his recent collections. I promise I still love you Marc! Just give us the good stuff. I'll have to see if the cross-strap wedges I used to be so obsessed with are at my parent's house when Colin and I are in San Francisco in a few weeks. And I'm totally out of touch with everything Bay Area so if you have any New Year's Eve suggestions in the city, let me know!

anyways, hi from a fellow hong kong-er. I rmb reading that you were there for a few years yes? Did you go to school there?

Jessica said...

Woo! You're coming back to the city. I will obviously not have the same "party scene" as you do but if you went to some SF High Schooler's New Years Eve party I know of, give or take, ten people (excluding myself) who would die of Blogger-Star Shock.

Anyways, I think I like these the best because they come with a zipper too. Duh. :)

I love those pants - could never pull them off, but I definitely love em :) I know there is a ton going on in the city...all of my friends are going to New Year's Eve at City Hall - its supposed to be fun.

I will be in San Diego and I feel like there is never anything as fun as the parties in SF...let me know if you know of anything down there - I've been the hotel party at the Hilton in La Jolla and it was awful, so I'm hoping for something better this year :)

I love the middle and last pictures. They look quite Sartorialist. The first one, though, it looks like you're wearing some kind of weird brown contour on your cheekbones. I'm thinking maybe it's the shadow on your cheekbone but I can't help but see early 80s Joan Collins. Stop with the blonde! You don't even look original with that wannabe hair...it's so played out and you're a pretty girl. Blonde makes you feel emboldened and confident, yes, but that doesn't mean it looks right on everyone.
