secondly, I read this article by the head chef of that really famous Japanese resturant in LA, the name of which escapes me at the moment, it's the one with that whole curved wall that's a picture of a Maiko's painted mouth, ya know?
anyway, he was talking about how use californian's have the world's best sushi outside of Japan :P
I totally want to go to Japan and test that theory, if only to have an excuse to eat a ton of amazing food. and ya know, I totally need an excuse for that :P

Rumi, This outfit is one of my favorites for sure. It has a relaxed yet chic feel. I think you made the right choice in wearing minimal accessories. I feel sometimes If I wear too many accessories then it takes away from the small details, for example the zips up the back of the pants would have been over-shadowed if you were carrying a bag or wearing a 'busy' top.
....and those shoes top it off perfectly.
