Lyte Accessories headband, vintage vest and blazer dress, Bakers boots.
Molly Rhymer of Lyte Accessories must have picked up on my headband fetish, luckily for me. She sent me a couple gorgeous pieces, both of which I've been wearing nonstop along with my Bakers boots that arrived this week. I honestly feel like a void in my life was filled, which is pretty sick. I walked two miles in them last night, which I suppose was brave given how new they are, but they're as comfortable as four and a half inchers are going to get.

hey rumi. i read your blog daily, but i've only posted twice. a lot of people have been saying you're too thin, and i just want to tell you that you look great. lean but not sickly thin. those people are just jealous of your uber long legs and absolutely gorgeous face. don't listen to them (but don't get too caught up in losing weight- that's happened to me)
anyway, people have also been saying that the blog's been going downhill. I beg to differ. just because your style has evolved doesn't mean its changed for the worse. its gotten a little more boho cool, and it reminds me of kate moss in a really cool, hip, London (yet L.A. infused) way. keep up the good work

I love, love, love that vest/blazer dress - it seems so YSL to me. Glad to hear the Bakers are comfortable - within reason. My co-workers never believe me when I tell them I have comfortable heels. It's all relative, right?
love ure style, but, it seems like all ure shoes are black booties, or black something or other...and most of ure clothes are black, and most of ure shirts are modified white T's...i know u can rock some color!;)

I really love the vest. I use to hate the whole Faux (and real) fur look, It always looked so tacky. like BAD nineties tacky. not crazy nineties tacky. But it's kinda grown on me now that I've seen it being worn well, like here and the Sat.

I love the cuffs on the boots, they make a great silhouette. Also thank you for your comment! The dress just seemed perfect for the occassion, plus I usually am more like a pancake on the bust front but the bones have some crazy powers of illusion, the dress is magic I tell you!
