Blazer and button-down, Erin Wasson x RVCA. Bodysuit, American Apparel. Jeans, Rogan for Target.

Tempted to claim this is my house...I mean damn. One of my best friends Rahul rented out this oceanside mansion for his birthday last night, which obviously demanded some daytime drinking in preparation. This place was pretty out there, 6 foot hookah, fur everywhere, letters signed by Ronald Reagan hanging on the walls, vivid paintings cramming every last inch of hallway space. Oh and swords. Lots of swords. I'm assuming the owner is slightly mad/all awesome. The party lived up to the environs with Guitar Hero, hot tub action, and the obligatory tons of random people that always end up arriving. I missed the plan to dress up at night (must read things more fully in the future) so I just..put on my bodysuit. We worked on our hangovers today by lolling around uselessly on the beach before gorging on sushi and Mexican hot chocolate after Rahul calmed a distressed, ok angry, mansion owner. That vase was totally already broken. Happy birthday Rahul!

The house certainly looks amazing, great idea to rent it out but I'd just be worried about the possible angry owner at the end the whole time!

The blazer looks great with the cutoffs

Rumi - I had sooooooo much fun with you this past weekend - only if I was a little de-stressed I could've enjoyed it more. Favorite part of the house: the corner that went into nothing...but the pool was nice too. Oh and I'll excuse the faux pas of confusing Rock Band for Guitar Hero...for now.

C-well - he he I love the modernization of your vintage name. Anyway old chap, I regret not being able to summer with you and watch the dogs run. Once you return from worldly travels I am assured we will most like meet for some brandy and cheese. Till then my good man.

I love that the party is at some swanky house and you guys are using solo cups! :-) That's always an excellent indication of a fun drunken time. :-)

I absolutely heart those shoes.

that sounds like such a pretty way to spend a weekend. a party at a "madman"'s mansion, relaxation at the beach, lots of stylish foods. very cool!

I miss the mansion already. And I guess I look tired when I'm wasted. Sleeping is boring anyway. Ooh and I realized it looks like I was roaming around there by myself but I didn't want to expose others to judgment on here!

Judy uhh k.

Jennifer what happened to Fashion Blanket? :( Hahaha those swords were so sweet.

She's Dressing Up, yeah I think Rahul was sorta stressed. Ok I know he was.

Farren somehow they're so ugly they work with everything I think. Plus they're like a perpetual conversation piece. People were surprisingly into them, though I had to explain the concept of "ugly chic" to a few.

Ashleigh it was so, so big. AND there was a grotto/cave area to the left of it that was begging for a Playboy mansion reference.

Sanna ME TOO.

Kristen hi/welcome!

Kate ahh yes I'm so lucky to have the beach so close..

Sarah I'll definitely be wearing this blazer a ton so yes I shall!

Claire damn I miss that show. I got all excited cause I saw it on my channel listing but turns out I don't get the Soap Channel or whatever it was on. I whimpered.

Barbara aww yeah these are more real for sure. I'll try to include more.

C, :( :( :( miss/love you too...

Louse lol yeahhh....

Rahuuuul Aisy and I were talking about how we hoped you enjoyed yourself as much as we did!! We also psychoanalyzed you from afar, sorry. OMG that c(k)orner. I totally chilled there for entire minutes. Actually what I wanted to do was drag a chair and lurk quietly. But then I got distracted by how drunk I was. And oops sorry, I thought they were the same thing, I've lost all cred! I need to brush up like crazy anyway. Chuff.

Carrie HAH. I will reject actual glasses for a solo cup any day.

Bostonista no seriously. We think.

i beg you to please tell us where that house is! I need to rent it for my birthday! please please please!!

way to take a risk and go out on a limb with these shoes. i disagree with the love shown for them in some posts. i think if you pulled a regular person off the street and asked them what they thought they'd say it reminds them of ronald mcdonald. nice try though. and nice tan. it looks very at home on the beach in the last photo.
