White on white

There's something so wrong about the white dress/white shoe combination but sometimes such things are hard to resist. And I'm not quite sure what it is that has me so re-obsessed with this scarf and these aviators, but I definitely think I have a tendency to wear something for a week straight and then shove it aside forever. I need to work on that.

Dress, American Apparel. Shirt, secondhand. Scarf, H&M. Shoes, Aldo. Sunglasses, Ray-ban. Bag, Givenchy.

I love how the colors of the main pieces are sort of light, which contrast with the scarf and bag.

It's like how when we were younger, we'd play with that same toy over and over again until we got bored with it. I guess we've moved onto clothes in that sense. Ha!

oh i do that too. quite a habit indeed.

The blue shirt prevents this from looking nurse-y.

Ok I am catching up on posts after a long time. All lovely!

I always wear my tight mini dresses with shirts over them, but this gives me a new idea, thanks!

The blue shirt breaks up the outfit, great idea!

you and karla are wearing the same dress in today's posts :) the white is toned down well with your 'gale. looks comfy, too!

You make so many fashion wrongs right...I'm amazed.

I too am guilty of the weeklong love, then shun.

I'm totally wore that AA dress today. We think alike, how freakin awesome :) ps. this look is ashley olsen- LOVE IT!

Thank you :)

I think this whole sporadically revolving wardrobe obsession thing would really be resolved by better closet organization, I will literally not see something for months and then idiotically be thrilled to "rediscover" it. If I ever get around to said organization, I'll definitely post a photo.

Haha WendyB I didn't even think about it but it is sort of nursey...ahhh!

Hey Karla! Love the dress on you, the first look the most! I always feel like I have to wear something longish over it because of it's pseudo-transparency.

I am def with you on the repeat-wear attack, my mom is always saying "oh is that your new uniform" Im tryingg to get better I promise hahaha.
Love the look though, I agree with whoever said very Ashely inspired =)

Love your outfit and Nailpolish! Where's the nailpolish from??

good to see other repeat-wearers. But if I don't wear a new item within the first week, chances are it's tag is still gonna be on months after I buy it! I have a tendency to "collect" clothes even though I won't get much of a chance to wear them.

Oh I love this combination! I have something similar in mind I have a Ralph shirt very similar on its way from Ebay right now, can't wait.

I think you kind of balanced the white dress/shoes combo with the dark Nightingale, and the casual scarf. Lovely!

It is interesting to see both you and Karla in the same dress with a shirt on:) Fun!

I am the same way, I will fall in love with something for a week, or a month, maybe the season and then its forgotten about forever.

Obsessed with the Nightingale.

I am loving this look. Which AA dress are you wearing?

i think you make the whole white dress & shoes very chic. & the wearing scarf with the aviators works so you could probably get away with it a while longer!

So funny how both you and Karla wore the exact same dress styled in an eerily similar way on the same day. Love the shirt and I'm still lusting after the Givenchy Nightingale.

I love how the colors make this look seem so light and airy for summer. This is a good way to switch up your look while still keeping the same general vibe.

I love the lightness in this look, so cool-weather-summer if that makes sense. You look lovely :)

im curious to what size you got that AA dress in? It seems for me that it is quite tight, too tight for a small. In the last picture it looks like it isn't too tight. But the other issue for me is the shoulders, that seem to slip down even though i have wide shoulders.
