I always think it's such a waste to reserve items for specific occasions. So even though this dress is blindingly chartreuse and sequin inclusive, I feel it deserves to see the light of day every now and then. A little obscuring of the glitz with tatty denim and the addition of my sturdiest vintage boots renders it almost passable for day, but then again since when have I cared about staring strangers?

Mixing glitz and common day things make things prettier, in my opinion. It's unexpected and that's what's great about it.

It actually looks really well put together. (I especially love those shoes. The little details make such a difference!!) I did catch a glimpse of the dress's glitz, but the denim does well to cover it up.

I find FCUK yellow dresses hard to see the sun. I have a yellow dress from fcuk too and its made friends with my winter jacket - it hasn't seen light since I purchased in winter 1785. no - bought it this winter, but really. Thanks for giving an idea how to wear it.
