Yesterday's news

Image Hosted by ImageShack.us

Dress, vintage. Knit coat, scored at Marshall's. Shoes, Bebe. Bag, Old Navy.

Yesterday, between losing internet spontaneously and miserably weird 40s temperatures, began as an annoying mess, so I decided to console myself with a creamy mocha and a perusal of a beachside cheapy boutique I've always wanted to check out. Downtrodden spirits lifted as soon as I saw a dusty pink dress with alive-looking collar ruffles that I determined to be perfect for the night's Valentine's dinner (perfect with my Oh Deer CL Lastic k/os) and a pair of electric blue skinnies with an extremely friendly $20 price tag. New stuff = happiness.

{Though my favorite purchase of the week has to be this mint condition dress form I scored at a thrift store, clean, sturdy, and marked "Elegance LA". I've already had an enormous amount of fun playing dress up with it and am even considering naming it.}

The night ended up being completely magical, with a wine-heavy dinner at our favorite Thai place that was also where we had our first date almost 3 and a half years ago..one of the best Valentine's I've ever had. Hope everyone else had a wonderful time too!

Looking fantastic as always! I was wondering what is your educational background? Did you go to Fashion/Merchandising/Textile/Art school? You seem to know how to tell a good quality piece.

I was so in love with the Prada ombre patent bag, so when this Old Navy tote came out I wanted it. Seeing how great you make it look I think I need it now.

Seriously, your jacket thing is so ugly. I don't get why you see the appeal in it.

I´m actually having my post valentine´s date today, but it´s going to be very wine-relying, too.
as my favourite dinners always are.

lovey dress, I think I will go for some erin fetherston-ness.

i don't really like the sweaterjacket either but you can't like everything. But actually with her style, I almost do like everything else which I can hardly say for anyone else.

Does the boutique where you snagged that adorble pink dress have an online store?
