I just wanted to make a special post to thank all of my readers for visiting Fashion Toast and for the always-lovely comments. Starting a fashion blog was something I've had in the back of my mind for a couple years now, and I'm so glad that I finally did. I think I was inspired to actually get going after becoming unhealthily obsessed with Milk and the Queen of All Blogdom, Susie Bubble, and wanting to get in on the fun. I am shocked, and so grateful for my 5,000 daily visits that Google reports to me. I think it's also played a big part in me getting the opportunity of a lifetime as an associate fashion editor (SOO excited!!) for an unnamed but AMAZING company which is going to involve a move northward and a lot of scary but fun changes in the next month.
So, just to get some feedback, what would you like to see more of? What are your favorite kinds of posts? I would love to hear everyone's thoughts and to get to know a little more about you!
And I didn't want to do a photo-less post, so I included one of my favorite photos that one of my best friends took of me in high school for some super-amateur class project. It was worth all the grass-rash I ended up getting minutes later.
Mmmmk I'm off to an impromptu cocktail party, hopefully will take pictures in my Luella for Target dress!

I love your blog. My favorite part is obviously pictures of your daily outfits. I also enjoy street style pictures you post of other people. Something I would like to see more of would probably be pictures of clothing from like emerging designers or something. I love finding out about new designers and such.

First of all, congratulations to your new job opportunity! I just recently started checking out fashion blogs, and yours is by far the best one I've come across. I check it everyday!
I agree with everyone else's comments when they say they love your outfit posts. Most fashion blogs post pictures of models from runway shows, or of really unique, outlandish outfits that you don't usually see on the street everyday. A lot of those pictures don't translate well for people like me, who aren't the most high-fashion savvy, and are just looking for more low-key but still very fashionable outfits for inspiration.

Hay! im sure you probably know this, but if your getting alot of hits per day, you should sign up for google adsense (i believe its called), they put ads on youe page and you can get payed everytime people click on them. not sure exactly how it works but you can google it=)

You hear this a lot, but like for many others it was love at first sight with your blog, and it became my favourite. I agree with all the commenters before me, thank you!!! Outfit posts are what I love the most, and I wish I could wear shorts like you (I joined the gym for that to happen :) ), but winter here isn't that warm, and that's one more reason why I love your pictures - they remind me of my favourite season - summer... CONGRATS on the dream job. i found the blog after you became a regular feature on fabsugar's look of the day. i'm a lawyer in denver, so i can never get as funky as you--or wear so much warm-weather clothing. but your site makes fashion feel approachable. that's a far cry from most magazines, where the unrealistic models and clothing price tags are too damn intimidating.
