Blue blazer = gaping hole in my wardrobe (using your terminology!). I need to find a good one that fits my shoulders. I've never been one for vintage shopping because I don't have the patience, but I have a feeling this weekend might be my first vintage outing...

I love that one big skirt.

That photo shoot is amazing. The foam boxes, the railway line...god what an amazing photographer. Those two work really well together. As for the clothes...I will dream about the first photo tonight. The black double breasted dress with white tulle - genius! Who is the designer?

oh i love devon aoki! the shoot makes me want to have long hair again, plus i've been dying for a tulle skirt!

I adore julia von boehm! she has a amazing style! the sartorialist pic is perfect. and i love her louboutins.

you know, i think i first caught onto julia via that army coat sartorialist photo too! i still cannot get over that photo; it's one of my all time faves. man, her attitude! when i found one of those high waist mega tulip skirts at h&m last fall, i didn't even have to pause to deliberate, because i already knew i wanted one after seeing julia in it. (erm, i didn't mean i wanted it BECAUSE julia had one....i just meant that paying attention to her style opened my eyes to the existence of said skirt...)

this is just such a great post - that devon shoot is amazing as well.

anyway, congrats on this new job opportunity! i just KNEW it had to be some sort of fashion editor job...(maybe i was a little too dramatic with the whole "teen vogue paris editor in chief" thing a while back, but i'm sure it'll be amazing!)

i can't get enough of Julia's disheveled bed-head. she seems like the type to literally roll our of bed looking like that. or maybe she spritzes some Surf Spray?
Julia is one of the few stylists whose personal style really inspires me and gives me fresh, unexpected perspective on style. She's up there with charlotte stockdale, katie grand, camille bidault-waddington, lori goldstein, melanie ward etc.
