Clever, clever. Displeased as I was with when presented with Blake Lively's blinding smile on the new Teen Vogue (where's the Leighton love??), all signs of crossness melted away when I flipped to the Love Song editorial. Soft tie dyes, lavenders, and blues mixed with leather and chains? Yumm. A closer examination of what seemed to intricately patterned booties revealed them to merely be ankle socked sandals. A brilliant way to tone down heels that might otherwise feel too nighttime for frequent donning. I love styling ideas that can be discovered in one's existing closet. Will try. Unlike the purple fur shrug in Exhibit C. Shudder.

Hmm I don't recognize the guy at all! Apparently his name is Chris, from what it says in the back pages of Teen Vogue. His jacket is by Amarcord Vintage and is $175, the number of the store is (212)431-4161. Hope that helps!

That would actually be a fairly easy look to pull off without breaking the bank. Be amazing to see how you wear it. I'm also really feeling those tie dye jeans.
I am seriously loving the ankle socks-cage heels combo. its a bit early to claim them as the new ankle boots, because i dont think ankle boots are quite dead yet... (and because i already bought 3 pairs of them)
anyway, i cant wait to try the look with a pair of sky-high t-strapped heels. i wish spring were already here!

When I first saw those shoes in the newest issue of teen vogue, I totally feel in love with them. I love the stylizing of this editorial. And I think this is the first time I've seen a model in teenvogue with pink streaks in their hair.
Just wondering... what the word is on photo inspiration from magazines. Should I tear out the photos, or leave the magazines intact (maybe my fashion curious children will be into them someday)?
